Won't be up!!

This just happened. It is 3 pm . My wife said she was going to put some champagne in freezer to chill. I told my wife to wait til around 9pm. She promptly chirped "why we won't be awake at midnight". Guess i won't ring in another one in

Well, this wife is putting splints and bandages on ice, 'cause my retired-engineer husband has for the very first time been invited to "assist" with the local fireworks display...

Emergency room, here we come!

Haven't seen the ball drop since 1990. I'll assume it comes down about the same time as usual.
Don't want to miss the sunrise.

I don't remember the last time I stayed up to ring in the new year. I may see the 10:00PM news and then I may not. 2013 will be here when I get up tomorrow, the Lord willing and the creek don't rise.

Happy New Year to all.

I will likely be checking into one or more radio nets starting around 11pm.. I normally hit the hay closer to 10 but what the heck, once a year.

I am shocked!

Contrary to my previous post in this thread, not only are we still up, but we are wide awake. Must have been the Hot Wieners!

Happy New Year everyone!

Well we gave it up about 10 pups were really getting scared with the fireworks going on. I saw more this year than ever before in the neighborhood. Actually woke up at 1159 . I thought the MH had blown up. She was ok. It was the loudest ring in I have heard in years. Happy New Year to every one . I hope to meet a bunch of you out there
