2014 Trip:Seattle-> Florida-> Maritimes -> Seattle

Hi, I'm new to iRV2, driving my 20' Rialta from Seattle to Florida (where I embarked on a long Brazil/Amazon River cruise) then up the east coast as the weather warms to do genealogy in CT, PA, NY until the Canadian snows melt. I want to spend some time enjoying the Maritimes, then will head back across Canada to Banff, and Glacier National Park by late summer.
A retired teacher, I love to spend time in state parks and to find interesting museums and historical spots. Currently I'm enjoying Highlands Hammock State Park in central Florida where I've been learning about alligators and tortoises.
Any suggestions about great places to stop and visit, or boondocking spots not to be missed will be appreciated. I'll post reviews of state parks or neat stops as I go.

Sound like a great trip. We went from Seattle to south Florida last year for a family reunion. On the way there, we stayed off the highways and enjoyed it very much. We found great places to stay at most small towns on US20 through Nebraska - very friendly and great scenery in the Sandhills.

Enjoy your trip!
