Albuquerque balloon "fiesta"

I know that the balloon fest utilizes hundreds of volunteers and wonder if some of you are familiar with that activity. Primarily, I'd like to find out if volunteers benefit by receiving reduced campground rates or other "compensation".

Thank you,
Ron

Volunteering for the balloon fiesta. I think the only "compensation" is, chase crew members get free rides, but it's been 6 years since we attended.
