Any campgrounds in Rhode Island open during off season???

My husband is currently working in Rhode Island (we've been there for 2 years but decided to rent a house because I couldn't find any open year round). The job is almost over so we decided to move out of our rental house before we came home for our Christmas break. Now we have to go back for a 2 weeks (could easily turn into a month or longer) and I can't find a single place to stay!! With our dog a hotel is out of the cards, he would bark incessantly at all the strange noises right outside our door (which is funny because in our RV he's perfect, maybe because it's "his" house). We've luckily never run into this problem before but I'm freaking out right now since we leave Saturday and have no where to go when we get there! I know some campgrounds say they close a specific date but will let workers who are temporarily working in the area stay during there off season. I'm going to call a bunch of places tomorrow but so far the closest to Newport RI I can find is an hour drive away :( If anyone knows of ANY please let me know
