Leaving from Disney if you go north you really don't have much selection of Gulf front, if you are looking for a beach, until you turn the "bend" heading west in the panhandle of FL.
North of Clearwater you have what we call the "Nature Coast" until you get to Carabelle.
The "Nature Coast" affords great fishing, but generally means low lying marsh type land that extends into the Guly of Mexico. If you are NOT looking for a "beach" you should check out Cedar Key, and Steinhatchee. At each location you will pretty much think you are in the late 1950's or VERY early 1960's. Great fishing, boat rentals and guides available, some good but very "earthy" restaurants.
If you have "specific" areas of interest let me know and I will do my best to find info. for you. Feel free to post or e-mail direct.
We have lived in the Orlando area since 1972 so if you need help there feel free to ask as well.
We hope you enjoy your stay in FL, and will visit us often. It has LOTS to offer the RV lifestyle.
