Another option would be Henry Horton State park, about 20 miles SE of Spring Hill. Nice park.

Nashville RV Resort and Cabins (formerly Nashville Jellystone Park) is the other of the three CGs on Music Valley Dr. They were just bought out by a corporation, so I can't comment on any price changes. Between Two Rivers and the KOA, Nashville RV Resort and Cabins is the middle of the price/quality market...KOA is the most expensive, but also the nicest, IMO. At just under $100, the KOA is our pick. We do not like paying that much, but it's convenient to family and venues so that's how we justify staying there. Location, location....

'Cock of the Walk' is a dining tradition in Nashville and is next door to the KOA...reasonable southern comfort food that should not be missed.

The General Andrew Jackson steamboat is another venue convenient to the CGs on MVD.

Anyone have any recommendations for the area?. Good or bad places to visit or stay away from?

First off, please specify your maximum distance from Nashville and from which direction.
It is difficult to reply to a general question, that seems to require specific information.

Texas T is farther south if you don't mind the drive. It's right off I65 and in a rural area.

Henry Horton tends to be a party campground on weekends. Just FYI. (I grew up in Chapel Hill)

I live in St Louis and have looked at Nashville, most seem to be about the average in this areas which is around $40-50 a night for full hookups. My question would be what are you thinking is cheap?

Nashville Fairgrounds is not fancy, but full hookups for $35 and a short Uber ride to Broadway.

We just stayed there a couple weeks ago.

Between Allstays & Campground Reviews about every CG that exists, along with reviews, is listed. A simple matter with both of them to select the state & zoom up on the area of interest.
