Any RV parks near Beaver Creek Colorado?
Just found out I need to spend a week in Beaver Creek Colorado in June, and thought it would be a good opportunity for us to take the moterhome and toad. Does anyone know of any V parks in the area? Any help appreciated! Thank you.

Hi Thorchini,
The best in the area is going to be Tiger Run in Breckenridge. about 45 mins away from Beaver Creek.

Beaver Creek
we stayed at Tiger Run a few years ago Wow was it expensive. If memory serves me it was around $100 per night. We only stayed one night and moved on

x2 on Tiger Run. Pricey place, but nice. It's a "sister" resort to Wolf Creek Run here in Pagosa Springs, CO.

Thanks for the info, appreciated for sure. That may be too far away for what we need to do for this trip, but I will look into it. Since we are coming from the Salt Lake area, it's about a 7 hour drive, we may just take the GL450 and stay at a hotel for this one.

Tiger Run looks attractive, but the 45 mile drive into Beaver Creek each day, 90 mile round trip, will be a deal breaker for me. Really wanted to take the Motorhome too.

As a suggestion, why not Google "Minturn, CO campgrounds". I'm thinking that Camp Hale would work for you.
I used to live in Eagle Vail (before Beaver Creek was developed). Lots of locals lived in Minturn. About a 15 or 20 minute drive. Camp Hale is on the way to Leadville. Lots of history there...
Hope this helps.

I don't recall the name, but there's a small private campground between Eagle and Glenwood Springs, alongside either the Eagle or Colorado River. (Might have been River Dance?) Had considered it on a trip last year, but ended up at Tiger Run instead. OK, but as others have said, overpriced.

We stayed last summer at River Dance in Gypsum, CO. They are 30 miles W of Beaver Creek Resort. A nice, well run campground, good prices too, as I remember. Campgrounds are few and far apart in that area of CO except state and national forests. In addition, after having been in Washington and Oregon, where online campground directories are great, I could view and reserve State Park campground sites online, I found Colorado campground information very sparse. When searching for campgrounds, trailer (excuse me, mobile home) parks were also listed.

Riverdance is an option, at least it's closer, about a 30 minute drive each way. Worth a look. I just don't want to stay in a hotel, want to use the Moho if I can.

Looking at Riverdance, they only have 8 places with full hookup, and I think TigerRun will be worth the extra drive if we take the Motorhome, seems like more to do there.
