Anyone going to Salado?

Heading to Scottish festival for the weekend. I know plenty of RVers are going because I had a heck of a time finding a spot to camp. Finally got a reservation 11 miles from event, sigh. Anybody on this forum going to be there?

Z^2, I didn’t know where Salado was or about the Scottish festival, so I looked it up. Sounds like a great thing to observe. Unfortunately we won’t be attending. Hope that you have a great time.

It was nowhere near as big as the Stone Mountain, Georgia Scottish festival and games, but it was fun & educational. Warning: parking is terrible in this tiny town.
There were other RVers there but I guess they aren’t on iRV2...?
We made more than the usual mistakes: hubby forgot half the food, I forgot the dog leash and failed to find the emergency leash I keep onboard, despite pre-programming our Rand McNally GPS tried to send us through San Antonio.

I like Salado. I like to visit that area to explore old arts and crafts. And Salado public library is good to grab knowledge. Check this place, it's full of information.,_Texas
