We are going to be in Mesa, Arizona (actually going to be going to Scottsdale, Arizona daily to watch the Giants play baseball and plan to stay in Mesa, Arizona for the week (March 16 -24, 2008). We saw a RV Park, Apache Wells RV Resort in Mesa, Arizona and wonder if anyone has used the park or what you think of it. Also, is there a different park anyone would suggest? Would appreciate any info, thanks, Darlene

Darlene,I do not know anything about Apache Wells; however, we hav stayed several times at Apache Palms in Mesa and it is a top notch park. All sites are gravel with cement pads. Every day they broom off the streets to get the grave;l back into the sites. As asite is vacated it raked for the next guest. Very clean laundry. The owners are no nonsense people, they say pick up after your pet and they mean it. They say no cigarette butts on the ground and they mean it. If you screw with either of these rules there is a reward for anyone reporting you-they get a free night and you get escorted to the exit. With out a doubt this was one of the cleanest places we ever stayed. Have not been there for last 3 years as we winter in Queen Creek, AZ which is some 40 miles away from AP and only about 10 mins. from daughter and family, Ken, '04 DSDP...

We stayed at Eagle View RV Resort at Fort McDowell for 3 days
It is very new,very clean and quiet at the end of a road so there is no traffic noise
It has a pool, spa and washer dryers etc.
It runs about $40 a day and less if you stay by the week.
This location is close to Scotsdale
