If you mean RV park it is Rancho Sedona. Yes, a nice campground right on Oak Creek under giant sycamores and cottonwoods, and as you say, walking distance to downtown.

prescott, jerome, wickenberg, abandoned mines near salome, are all great small towns to tour. dont take your long rv south out of prescott, on hwy 89, very curvy.
ive liveed in arizona for 20 years and still have lots left to see. sometimes seeing a place the second time is a treat. you never see all of any place.

For an entertaining stop check out The Thing outside of Benson on I10 - a tongue-in-cheek museum that will have you laughing constantly!

We’ve been to many of the places mentioned and thoroughly enjoyed our time. I will add the Arizona Desert Museum (ASDM). It is a wonderful zoo of indigenous flora and fauna.

Also take the Bajada Loop drive in Saguaro National Park (very near to ASDM above.

If you are into golf, there are many great golf courses in The Greater Tucson area. There is also a wonder bike loop in the Tucson area.
