Bald Mountain Camping Resort Hiawassee Ga.

I just returned from an auto trip in the GA. NC. SC. mountain areas where among other things I visited a few RV parks. I really liked the Bald Mountain Camping Resort in Hiawassee Ga. I'm looking for a seasonal spot for next spring. Have any of you been there. I would like to hear some comments good and bad before I commit to a season.

Oh, and I am aware of rvparkreviews as I am a contributor.

Never been to any camprounds in that area, but have stayed in a cabin in the area in the past. We visited some friends at River Vista Mountain Village in Dillard. Very nice.

Lets us know what you find something nice. Plan on camping the area in the futures.

We like Mountain View in Blairsville. Developed as an RV Resort selling lots. Great group of people and Pass Port America discount. http://www.georgiamtnviewrvresort.com/

The folks that run the place are sorta picky - don't get on the grass, no more than X number of visitors etc. Lot of seasonals in certain areas of the park so this place might suit you. We like Riverbend more, but it is getting hard to get into

We recently spent a week at Mountain View and found that it was a great location for visiting the mountain areas of GA, NC, and TN. The owner treated us very well and it is a great resort with new modern facilities.
