We have moved up to Bar Harbor and will be here a week before heading back down to the southern part of Me.

Hey guys, good to hear from you. Hope you are having fun and the weather is treating you well.
Bar Harbor CG is an interesting place. No reservations, cash only. I guess the IRS has to PROVE you make more money than you declare.
Check out the lobster pound just across the street from the entrance. We were expecting a real 'down east' type with the accent etc. We got an accent all right. The folks were from India or Pakistan. !!

Doc,we didn't check that one out,don't think we will either! The campgroud had a sign posted for a nearby Lobster pound with a $29.95 special,lobster,corn on the cob and crab claws for $29.95(for two) so we had that for supper last night.Only thing was they didn't crack and cut it open like the lobster pound in Belfast!
Trip is going pretty good,the rough roads up here is heck on the back so not up to doing as much as I'd like.

You gotta get a Lobsta roll at Red's on rt.1 in Wiscasset. Best lobsta in Maine.
