Best planning app/site for Canadian Maritimes

We are starting to work on a planned multi-week trip to Canada's east coast. Looking at postings about apps I think I have an idea of best for USA travel but don't hear much about Canadian planning.
Does anyone have experience or suggestions to share with a couple who are planning their first venture far from home? Is there one you have found that carries over into Canada well.
If it matters, we are a big rig, pets on board and tow behind.
Thanks for any advice. Stay safe.

Sounds like a great trip!

If you’re looking for things to do on PEI, they have a pretty good website called experiencepei.ca We used it for our trip last year and booked some cool things, like professional sand castle building, different tours in Charlottetown, etc. for places to stay with a big rig, red point provincial park is nice. Twin Shores is more of a resort style big rig friendly campground. It has an amazing beach. Actually a lot of PEI provincial parks are big rig friendly and their website for the parks is great.

I’m not familiar with the provincial website for New Brunswick but I’d say Fundy National Park is a gotta see - also big rig friendly either Chigneto campground or Headquarters campground within the park. Headquarters is an easy walk into Alma (small village in the park with crazy tides you can explore). Hopewell rocks is also close by. Only thing about Headquarters campground is the grade to get down to it. The road is great within the park and the grade is STEEP, but it’s well designed and not a long grade.

Nova Scotia I’m no help at all.

Good luck with your planning!

Been to the area, including Newfoundland, multiple times.

For information purposes the same sources as anywhere else are used. RV Parky, All Stays & RV Campground Reviews provide more than enough info.
