Best Summer RV Getaway in the Western US?

Looking for a great RV Resort to spend the summers somewhere in the western USA.
BTW: good golf is a plus.
Any suggestions?

Im from FL but love to travel in my Class A RV in the west. I learned the hard way that the interior of the west can be very hot. It can also experience smoke and fire. If you want to avoid those risks, you cant beat hanging out on the Pacific Coast. Id recommend Monterey in CA. Id recommend the Central Oregon coast. Id recommend Whidbey Island in WA. Research the best RV park and stay one month at each destination. Have fun.

The west is HUGE. You can stay at Lake Tahoe. That's the only place to go in the west.

Seriously, though, I travel N-S and S-N in the west mostly every year and follow the good weather. You get down in the SW in the summer though, and it's just mostly HOT. I do like Pahrump, NV (55 miles west of Las Vegas) for it's mild shoulder seasons. But there are many areas of the west, up in the mountains mostly, where it's still cool in the summer. Too big an area to list them all.

This might just check all your boxes - Never stayed there but it has always looked interesting as a summer retreat, Golf - Near some major attractions - while fairly large appears to be only slightly discovered.

About – Star Valley Ranch Resort

Has activities in the resort - has adventure nearby - is fairly easy to access - It would appear that you could make a Summer out of driving to for a Month or so (Great Road Trip) then spending a Month or so there relaxing and then Driving out (Another great Road Trip)......giving you three Great adventures in one Big trip.

Just a Thought,

Webcam - winter might just be a Challenge! - https://starvalleyranchresort.com/?page_id=37
