Big Rig Camping in the UP Michigan

Can anyone recommend decent campgrounds in the UP of MI that would have 50 amp and be large enough for a 45 ft motor home. Would like to visit the national parks up there along with Pictured Rocks and Porcupine Mtn.

Thanks!

I spent 10 days in the UP recently. Both the Munising and Maniatique City Parks would fit your rig.

I spent a week at the Porcupine Mtn park campground near Silver City this summer. The park campground has grass pads and 30 amp electrical. Some sites will accommodate big rigs. There were large Motor Coaches in the campground.

We stayed at the Pictured Rocks RV Park and Campground. New park that is set up for Big Rigs. This is a new park so not much shade.
Also Anne Osborn in Sault Ste. Marie works. No full hookups but 50amp and enough room.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Haven't been there so can't help with that. Just noticed you are kinda new on the forum and wanted to say hello. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
