Question Blackhawk Valley Campground

Hi folks!

My wife and I are heading out in the first part of October for our first “real” RV adventure (one not within 20 miles of our house) . Her nephew’s wedding is in Rockford, IL, and we were thinking of staying at the Blackhawk Valley Campground. I went through the Campground Review forum, but didn’t see anything. Has anyone been there? We have a Class C w/ 30 amp, so ideally looking for full hookup (we *are* going to be cool and boondock for a day on the way there from TX ). Appreciate anyone’s thoughts or opinions.

Thanks!

Check out RV Park Reviews. There are plenty of reviews for Blackhawk Valley. We stayed there in 2015 for an overnight on the way home from Alaska. We have Class C with 30 amp also. It served our purpose fine, clean, quiet and not a lot of “extras” that we didn’t need. Two women in the office were great and I think there was a little store there. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again,
