You might try Mountain Stream RV Park. It's south of the Parkway on NC Route 80. Steep and curvy with tight switch backs to get to it, but worth the effort.
If the steep, curvy mountain road from the Parkway is intimidating to you, go to Marion and take NC Route 80 north to it.
