We did the BRP a number of years ago on a motorcycle and it was a wonderful experience. The views are stunning and the road itself seemed perfect for a 2 wheel application. However, I don't think the road is applicable to a DP. Some of the turns are tight radius 270 degree and would be nearly impossible for something 30+ feet to maneuver around (unless articulated?) without crossing into the opposing lane of traffic. Since we were on a bike, I didn't notice overpass heights, but there are quite a few of these that may not allow over 12' (or lower?) clearances. There is only one place on the parkway that sells fuel and I think that was in Daughton Park and if I recall, they didn't sell diesel. Hense you would be required to wind down the mountain, again encountering tight radius curves, to refuel in a larger town that carries diesel fuel. The mountain elevations top out at just above 6000', but most grades are gradual accept those that leave the mountain to refuel or explore the towns. At the time we went, there were no campgrounds (again as I recall) that would accomodate a DP let alone any other form of a large RV and there are only two lodges at the mountain elevations with both requiring 6 months advance booking to insure a place to stay. Rather than take the DP up there, I suggest setting up camp at various towns at the lower elevations, and take day trips to explore the BRP with the toad.
