Box Canyon East of Phx, Az

Got to take my new Fuzion toy hauler out this past weekend. We camped out at Box Canyon, which is east of Phoenix, and north of Florence Junction. We took our Teryx 4 to cruise around in and explore the area. We had some friends that came out with a couple of jeeps. The whole weekend was definitely enjoyable,...especially sitting out by the campfire.

Sounds like a fun trip. Glad the new toy hauler worked and you enjoyed it! We were down your way in early February, but got chased further south to stay warm. We still got snowed on in Green Valley south of Tuscan (pretty weird seeing the orange tree in our camp site with 2" of snow on it).

Have any other adventures planned?

Yeah,...we are actually leaving from Wortham, Tx tomorrow to head down to Houston and start our 3 day journey to Disneyworld. We'll spend about 10 days in Florida. The last 3 will be at Emerald Beach Resort down there by Destin. I look forward to nothing but good times.

How about yourself? Any road trips coming up?

Not yet. A couple of state park weekends scheduled, but nothing large.

Safe travels!

Nothing wrong with that. I know for most people,...just getting to go out and travel on the weekends tend to be more fun than traveling long distance. For us,...this is the first time that we gotten to travel and not be in a hurry to get there. When we drive from Phoenix to Wortham, it's usually drive all the way thru. But, this time we took our time and spent 3 days to get here. The 2 campgrounds that we stayed at were very nice,...La Hacienda in Las Cruces and Buckhorn Lake in Kerrville, tx. Tomorrow when we get on the road, it'll be a little more interesting, cause we'll have three rigs going down the road. I'll keep you posted on the trip.
