Branson / Table Rock Lake Campgrounds

We are looking to camp in the Branson area the end of July. Looking for recommendations on campgrounds with a pool and good activity for the Kids. 6 kids in total. We love to stay down by Table Rock Lake, but it appears that all the Core Of Engineers or State Parks dont have pools for the kids... Plan to go to Silver Dollar City one day and the Water Park in Branson on another day and Rent a Pontoon... recommendations please.

Iíll follow this thread, but canít give you any good info yet. Weíre staying at the Ozarks RV resort on Table Rock Lake in April. Itís about 30 miles from Branson. I have no idea how it is. It has good reviews so weíre optimistic.
Iím sure others will post useful information so Iíll learn along with you.

We stayed 10 nights at Stagecoach Campground last September. It is located on State Hwy 165 directly across the highway from Table Rock State Park. I recall seeing both a playground and swimming pool next to the office. There is also a little cafe at the front of the campground. I dislike commercial campgrounds so to me this was on par everyone else. The power was reliable, water OK, reasonably quiet. If you stay there bring your bicycles. There is a great paved trail that runs along the edge of the lake starting at the dam and continuing to the state park marina, approximately 4 miles.

I just want to suggest you consider adding Musicland campground in town in Branson into the mix, they have a pool, gated entry with terraced sites along the side of a hill just off the main drag, and are within easy 5-8 minute walking distance to multiple amusement ares with multiple miniature golf courses, basic carnival rides (Ferris wheel), go kart tracks, etc. (probably under 10-12 minute walk to the white water water park (under half a mile away). As well as a number of music venues, museums (Titanic Museum, Hollywood Wax Museum, Ripleys museum), as well as a number of family friendly dining options like Mel's hardluck diner with the singing waiters within an easy walking distance.

There is a lot of great RV parks in the Branson area. You might try Silver Dollar City's RV park. Its close to SDC etc plus there is a shuttle from there to the park. Americas Best is another one that folks go to alot. Treasure Lake is another good one. All of these have pools and stuff. Is a owner ship park but I think they let folks in. If so its worth checking out.

A lot of the Branson Parks are really tight for larger units so make sure you talk to the folks about that.

We are in Branson 1-2 times per year. I'd recommend Musicland. COE has a great public beach just outside of town (Moonshine Beach). Best
place to eat in Branson is "The Keeter Center" at the College of the Ozark's

richf I agree with you on Musicland RV Have stayed there a few times and never had a problem with our 43' class A. Oh, and thanks for letting out Bransons little known secret as to the best place to eat. Due to COVID, we used their Thanksgiving takeout, fabulous !

I agree about the Keeter Center for eats, BUT if you like Prime Rib the best place in Branson is the Center Stage Grill. They have a smoked Prime Rib that is to kill for!

A campground that would be good for kids would be Jellystone. They are geared towards family values and have something for everyone. You can go on their website and check it out. Good luck and make memories with those kids while you can!

Okiewander you are correct about Jellystone parks. However the only one close to Branson is Forsyth/Hollister area. That is a long way from the Branson area where the OP wants to be.

Sounds too simple but we've stayed three times in the KOA right in town. It's clean and the lots are more than adequate. Only downfall is that you almost need a car to get around. You can walk, but it's probably a mile to the closest mall.

We stayed at America's Best last July. It has a pool and playground, nice laundry, good cell signal. But, the sites were very close together. They charge for extra adults, but not for extra kids in the summer from what they told us. It is up on a hill kind of overlooking the town, but only takes a minute to get into town.

The Branson RecPlex is a public pool that is very affordable and very, very nice. It is like a waterpark at about 1/5 the price. Two huge slides, a climbing wall, splash pad etc. With Covid, they limited the number of people, so it was very uncrowded. Also, check out Fritz's Adventures. It is like an indoor ropes course/adventure course and our granddaughter LOVED it along with Silver Dollar City.

Anyone have any feedback or updates from recent trips to branson? headed there week after next and planning on staying 5-6 days. We arent super interested in the tourist stuff. We like the outdoorsy stuff more but would appreciate a few good meals and some fun stuff for the kids to do.

Most of Branson is really leading to family most everything is going to be touristy.

Might look into this

A new place in Branson worth going to

And of course theres Silver Dollar City
if you can go on Thursdays get a ticket at local grocery store cost $45.00

If you are into civil war history a little north of Branson is Wilson creek battle field its worth checking out also

Good Luck safe travels and enjoy Branson
