I did some research through the visitors center in Coeur d'Alene. Apparently what happened to the Coeur d'Alene Brewing Co. was their lease was up in the building, the new rates were going stupid so they closed down to find another location that will accommodate the brew pub. So far no luck. Hope they find a place soon 'cause they have some awesome beers .

For a place a little further south try McGuire's Irish Pub & Brewery, 600 East Gregory Street, Pensacola, FL 32502 (850) 433-6789. Great beer and ales, fabulous steaks and seafood. 5 cent bowl of beans and you can kiss the moose. Check out their brewery at McGuire's Bewery in Pensacola, FL . They do have a second location: McGuire's Irish Pub, 33 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541. Bring a dollar bill to sign and have stapled on a wall or ceiling. There's already several hundred thousand posted.

Well we have our trip set out for this summer. Does anyone know of anything around the Bend Oregon or Klamath Falls Oregon areas? Cause you never know we may get thirsty .

I know there is a brewery type place south of bend on 97 before you get to Klamath Falls and it may be in or near Chiloquin.(sp) I remember seeing it but just can't locate it in my alleged mind.

Belle Isle Brewing in Oklahoma City is good, try the baby back ribs. Fire House Brew Pub in Rapid city South Dakota and the Strand Brew Pub on Galveston Island Texas are good. I have been home brewing for 12 years now. Never made a brew I would'nt drink, have made some I will not make again. I have a Rasberry Stout in Bottle that is GREAT. There several very good wineries around Ferdricksbug Texas.

You might want to look on a website called POI-Factory. They have all sorts of point of interest files you can download to your GPS or Microsoft Streets and trips. They have four pages of brew pubs etc. plus thousands of other things of interest.

Oregon Stops
Thanks for the mentions of Harvest Hosts Free Camping with Harvest Hosts at Wineries, Farms and Orchards. We're always on the look out for additional breweries & wineries that allow RV to park for the night. Let us know if you find any.
Asking about Klamath, OR, although we don't have any stops yet nearby, we do have several along Hwy 5 if you might head that way. Any questions, email me directly dbg@harvesthosts.com Don Greene
