After having our first TC without AC or gen. for about 15 years, AC and gen were top priorities for the next one in '93. We haven't been without one since.

We boondock almost exclusively, but even if that isn't in the picture it is nice to have AC when stopping for lunch and perhaps a short nap when it is 110 degrees outside. Also for the micro. They're just nice to have along.

That will be a nice trip, thanks for sharing the info with us.

I think there will be times when you'll appreciate having the gen. along. Please let us know how that works out when you get back home.

We're planning on going across, and up through, AZ to the North Rim and other places this summer in July on our way back from WV. We did that last year, but didn't spend enough time there.
