Bryce to Zion

Planning a trip out to Utah in the next 2 weeks and would like to spend a couple of days in Bryce Canyon area and then move over to Zion NP for a couple of days. Looking for camp grounds with pull thru and hook ups. Do not need a lot of extras (pool, spa etc.) but would like a clean shower and dump.

In Bryce, we stayed at Ruby's and in Zion we stayed at Zion River Resort in Virgin.

We stayed at Camp Lutherwood last fall, it is between Zion and Bryce. Used the toad for visiting the parks. Be advised the road from the highway to the camp is not paved . . . could be an issue if raining. Nice RV park, nice people running it.

Our experience with Camp Lutherwood was totally different. After driving one the dirtiest, unmaintained access road to get to the camp, we found it unkempt with derelict campers scattered about in various sites. They looked like they had not been use in years. We had made reservations and found no one on site, management or other campers. That was August two years ago. We left immediately to endure the road for the second time...what a dump and it is definitely not easy to get to. It's a self proclaimed religious retreat(sign)...that appears to have fallen into hard times.

Maybe there has been some improvement ??? over the past couple of years, but I'd sure take the toad in to verify it's even worth the drive in with the MH.

We drove on to Glendale and stayed at Bauer's Ranch (much better) for day trips back into Bryce and on to Zion.
