Bullhead City to Winnemuca Nv

We were planing to stop in Tonopah at the Tonopah Station but the RV park doesn't have water to most of their pads.
No reservations are taken, but if there is one open that has water it's a first come basis. Where else can we go for one night? Thanks, Gary

This is the reason we always keep 1/3 of a tank in our fresh tank.

Happy Glamping.

Go on up to Fallon - there’s three RV parks, a couple a little on the grungy side, but they have hook ups. I stayed at Sage Valley RV - a little rough around the edges but friendly, economical and sufficient. Fallon RV park (Hwy 50 1/4 mile east of 117) looks more like a KOA or similar.

There’s a third park in Fallon on 95 at 117. Don’t think it has hook ups but it does have a dump station so likely fresh water to fill up. And of course there’s a Wallmart in Fallon FWIW.

We struck out at Tonapah Station last year too.

We went back through town to the Banc Club/Bamboo Chinese Restaurant. Just past is a large dirt lot that you can overnight in. Couple of trucks in there and there was about three that came in and did trailer swaps, so it was a little noisy at times.

Watch the driveway, it is wicked and has plenty of scars, including mine, to prove it.

Went into the restaurant to double check about parking and was told was fine. Asked about the food, he looked around and whispered, "Go to the Mexican place up the street." Ate in MH.

Just south of Winnemucca is the Star Point Trading Post and RV park....in Mill City....not much else around, and I've been here a month and will be till Oct....26 miles south of town.....right off I-80...and the parking area isn't all that bad in Tonopah.......have stayed there 12 times...for a rest break......and watch your speed thru the small towns...

On the north side of Hawthorne is Whiskey Flats RV Park. I haven't stayed there (been by it many times but ratings on Trip Adviser are good (4.5/5).

We've used the rest area in Tonopah - excellent stop for one night.

We always carry water in the motorhome. We don't need hookups.

10 mi W on US-6/95. Miller’s Rest area w/designated RV camping (No trucks allowed). Large open area away from highway. Clean rest rooms, dump, water. When entering you’ll come to a lot, don’t park here. Drive further, past the restrooms, to the next lot which is signed for Overnight RVers. A great spot!

It's been a couple of years, but we stayed at:

Tonopah RV Park
1160 US-95
Tonopah, NV
775-482-1700

Nothing special but we like it better than the Station as it is 50 amp | FHU | pull through. Only real downside is there are only about 18 or 20 sites.
