Camp Ground suggestions, Yosemite east entrance, Utah NP, Redwood Forest Calif

leaving around Aug 30th,

30' RV with toad, going from Phx to Reno then to Yosemite then to redwood forest in Northern Calif, ( Avenue of the Giants), then back to Utah to see Arches and Canyonland.

Any RV campsite recommendations?

Looking for at least water and electric,

OK let me be the first to start.
Starting out from Phoenix? Have you considered stopping to see the Grand Canyon? Williams AZ and the Railroad RV campground is the perfect spot.

Oh 99.9% of all campgrounds have electric, water, and sewer so that's not a worry.

Have you travelled that route before?
What route you planning to take from Phoenix to Reno? You planning to go thru Las Vegas and north into Utah then west on I80 to Reno?
Then down hill into Sacramento CA then from there how you getting to the Redwoods? North from Sacramento or west to the coast?

See you have to tell us your route you planned then we can get you better information.

Hope this is a start for you.

Ave of the Giants: Ancient Redwoods RV Park. Full hook ups, paved, satellite friendly if you request it and good wifi. No cell but you can either enable calling over wifi or drive 1 mile and get cell. Grocery is 20 minutes. Bring bikes. Beautiful area with great riding.

Moab: Portal Rv park. Full hook ups. Resort side has a pool and is all paved. Non-resort side has paved roads and gravel sites. Short drive to Arches.

Lived in AZ for many years so we've already seen Grand Canyon, Williams etc.

yep, I guess it might help to tell you the route but we're still trying to decide which way to go. Think we'll take one of two routes to Yosemite then to Fresno and then up to Redwood Forest NP.

1st one might be Phx to Las Vegas to lee Vining near the east entrance to Yosemite. Will need a place near Lee Vining give or take a few miles. Then we'll visit the park and later head to Fresno to visit relatives. So need an RV park near the south entrance as a base camp before heading into Fresno.

2nd route would be from Phx to Riverside then up to Fresno so will need a place near or in Fresno (no place to stay at relatives). After visiting then we'd head to the south entrance to Yosemite, need RV park near Wanona.

Need RV park near Redwood NP avenue of the giants.

Looks like the only way to get back to Arches NP in Utah would be to take HWY 80 across NV then HWY 15 thru Salt Lake City. Drove through Salt Lake a year ago and swore I would never do it again. Pot holes the size of the grand canyon for miles. But I don't see any other way.
Any good RV parks along HWY 80 across NV?

After Fresno and Yosemite it looks like the best route is via Sacramento north on HWY 5 then over to Hwy 101

So RV park recommendations for;

Lee Vining or area near by east entrance to Yosemite.
South entrance to Yosemite
Fresno/Clovis, Calif.
Redwood Forest Ave. of the giants
Tahoe/Reno (coming from redwood forest NP)
HWY 80 between Reno and Salt lake city
Arches NP, Utah

Hope this isn't to confusing but like I said looking for route ideas and camp grounds to kinda help in deciding which way to go

Looking for at least water and electric,
Benbow KOA just south of Avenue of the Giants. Nice park, on the river with a historic inn that serves wonderful food. Golf as well. Lots of walking if you like, and all very dog friendly including the restaurant at the inn. On your way to Reno take Hwy 70 instead of 80. Wonderful beautiful drive and stay at Border Town RV resort nice little park next to small casino outside of reno about 10 minuets but its the best. Also if your traveling 395 be sure to stop at Boulder Creek RV resort south of Lone Pine. Lots to see and do there. At Lee Vining you might want to stay at Mono Vista Rv park. Good spot.
