Campground near Hopewell Cape NB

heading out to NB and NS this fall and want to find a nice campground near Hopewell Cape so we can take in the awesome Fundy tides we've heard so much about. Looking for suggestions for campgrounds for anyone whose been there. We're a 34' MH + toad. Thanks!!!!

Home - Ponderosa Pines Campground

Is the closest. No experience, as we always make Hopewell Rocks a day trip, tidal times considered.

Howdy!

X2 on Ponderosa Pines Campground. We stayed there and had no problem fitting our 40’ 5er and MDT.

We stayed at pines too. It is really close to fundy park. Fundy is like any other government type park with busses and crowds of folks but it is really cool.

We had more fun in other areas in fundy. It is really pretty there and quiet.

NS

If you make it to NS, there is a great municipal campground in Lunenburg.

Before you get to Hopewell, there is a nice campground in St Andews, NB (Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping). It’s right on Fundy bay. Nearby is an island (Ministers Island) that can be accessed by an ocean floor road when the bay tide is down.
It appears you plan to be traveling in NB, so Alma is an interesting seaport town near Hopewell where you can see boats floating and on sea bottom a few hours later.

for those of you who have suggested Ponderosa Pines, how is the 114 highway? I had read in a couple of posts elsewhere that the road was NOT big rig friendly..... TIA
