Campground recomendations Georgia

I am looking for a good campground for one or two nights halfway between Gainesville, Florida and Knoxville, Tennessee close the Interstate 75.

I am sure there are parks south of Atlanta, but I am not familiar with one. Above Atlanta in the Marietta area (terrible, terrible traffic BTW) there are a few. Red Top Mountain comes to mind. There is a KOA and McKinney. Never stayed at any of these however

Cartersville KOA would probably be closest to I75. There is also a nice campground called Alatoona Landing in the same area. We really liked it there. It is right on Lake Alatoona. McKinney COE is also very nice and right on the lake.

Macon is half-way between the two points. There I'd pick Lake Tobesofkee Claystone Park. I've not been but has good reviews and appears to be well liked. Plus it's near 475 bypass around Macon.

Fair Harbor RV Park and Campground is in Perry Georgia. Right off 75 and has pull through up front waiting for travelers. Pretty level and easy to navigate with a 40ft pulling a toad. I didn’t use the amenities so I can’t comment on them but the folks are great. Stay there when going to the Keys. And staying again.

Found one with Excellent reviews

I booked with Twin Oaks RV Park just outside of Perry, Georgia. The reviews look good. I will let you know.

Thanks to all.

Not exactly halfway but my overnight stop to FL is Twin Oaks RV Park just north of Unadilla, GA. They have long level pull-thru sites.
