Finally time, WYRon, and jmcarter,
Thanks for all the input, much appreciated. I guess there is always too little time to do and see all the things you want to see. Crater Lake is a place I have not been before, so that is why it is on the "list". We are actually starting out in the UP of Mich and coming across the northern US2 to Glacier first, then on to Puget Sound area, Olympic Penn, down Oregon coast to Redwoods, then up to Crater lake and across to Tetons/Yellowstone. We were in Black Hills 4 yrs ago for a week, so doubt we will spend time there this trip. Pretty ambitious, I realize, but we will be willing to make adjustments as we go along. Not having done this in a MH before and feeling as though we need to make as many reservations as possible (esp at Nat'l parks) I am trying to include all of this on our time schedule. I will definitely take your suggestions into consideration and will bring contact numbers in order to change anything we might feel the need to change. There is so much beautiful country out past the Mississippi and I like to see whatever I can manage when I have an opportunity. Thanks! I have received so much help/assistance in planning and really appreciate it all!

Lived at diamond lake for a couple years and grew up just west of there. God I miss that country

Diamond Lake is one of my favorite places in the world... We try to get there once or twice a year to camp and fish.... Only one thing I don't like is the mosquitos ... The will eat you alive during certain parts of the year.

The mosquitos are terrible there. I remember sitting in the south shore pizza parlor and seeing them cover an entire 6x6 window. My friends family owns the resort. I've been meaning to head that way, been about 3 years since I've been there
