Campground Review Website Stats
Part of my job is keeping an eye on our competitors. I noticed some chatter here about which site has the best data, so I thought I'd share with the community.
We should all be very proud of our community. COVID helped lift most RV websites. I'm not aware of any other decent-sized campground directories that were able to keep double-digit growth after the spike.
2025 is off to a great start with reviews up over 35% year-over-year!
Please encourage other RVers to leave reviews on every stay. This will allow us to provide better data to everyone, making millions of RV trips better!

I haven’t been RVing long. Out of all the campground websites with reviews I reply on RvLife 99% of the time to find campgrounds for a stay. None other has impressed me as well. Wish sometimes more people would post a review when they stay a campground that’s shown on Rv Life. There are a lot of campgrounds without any reviews or the last review posted was four years old or older.

Impressive stats! Thanks for sharing. Confirmation for why Trip Wizard is such an valuable trip planning app. Also confirms why I've been able to find so many more reviews now than when I began.

That's AWESOME, Andy! I knew we were way ahead of the other sites, but didn't realize how far. And with well over a dozen new parks coming in per week, it's only getting better.
It takes just a few minutes to submit a review. You don't have to write a novella. Just checking off the checkboxes on the review form will go a long ways to make RV LIFE Campgrounds better.
Submit a review today!

We've only been RVing for 4 years. So far I've left 81 reviews along with 325 photos.
Prior to using Trip Wizard, we used RV Parky. Not nearly as many reviews and lots of them were very old. I left a few reviews there as well.

Andy, thanks for those stats. I always wondered if other sites were overtaking RV Life's site. Glad to see that my only review site is still on top!
I had to check. I've left 155 reviews. I would have thought it was more since I've been leaving reviews since before this was an RV Life property. I leave a review at every new stop and even at some already visited and reported.
I've got some new stops coming up this year (which is all mapped out on RV Treip Wizard). For sure I'll rate those too.

RVLive is my go to site. I like reading reviews, looking at pictures, and either a link to their website or phone number right on the first screen. The overall visual map is great, I use that in conjunction with Google Maps to select campgrounds. I have also left 20+ reviews over the past few years.

Huh... Too bad you have to look at them as competitors.

I like that you can submit a review right from Trip Wizard. It links right to RV LIFE Campgrounds' review page, so you don't have to go hunting for a separate URL. That makes it real easy to do.
I've been at RVLCGs since 2003...when it was RV Park Reviews, then morphed to Campground Reviews, then RV LIFE Campgrounds. I've seen it grow exponentially & improve dramatically in 22 years. It's really amazing how far it's come since way back then.

I value that RVLife has the most up to date reviews. My only inconvenience with RVlife is that on the map the pins don't differentiate between the types of campgrounds such as National Forest, Commercial , ACOE etc. So I use a competing app (AS) that differentiates them with differing pins. However their reviews are often way out dated. So with the campground name known I often go back to RVlife to find a more recent review.
Question. Is there a mechanism to add a campground to the data base if it isn’t listed . For my planned midwest motorcycle trip coming in August, I have found 3 that are not on your database (I have verified 2 as open)
