Camping in Door County

We are planning a trip to Door County area, any suggestions on RV Parks near two Rivers & Strugeon Bay? Iíve looked on the 2 apps & so far Tranquil Timbers -two Rivers & Scheffels Hideway Strigeon Bay, donít look too bad. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Door County, WI. Well known scenic area for the western Great Lakes.

Scheffels in Two Rivers gets good ratings, but we had to cancel last year due to a serious mechanical problem. We canceled within the posted online policy. But regardless of that they decided to keep our money and not honor their pronounced refund policy. You decide if you want to stay there personally I couldnít recommend them based on that kind of poor behavior on their part.

If it were me, I'd go a little farther north, we stayed at Peninsula State park in 2015, it was beautiful! I highly recommend the Northern Lights Playhouse up there and by all means take the ferry to Washington Island. Lots of great places to eat and experience a fish boil

We go farther into the peninsula too, but I do recall there being a great custard place on the west side of the road near (just north of if I recall correctly) Two Rivers.

We always stayed at https://www.wagontrailcampground.com...fe_Campgrounds but last time tried Hyland Court - Door County Camping. We love them both! I guess we might give Hyland a slight edge if you need sewer as most CG's in the door don't offer sewer. Otherwise you can't go wrong with either.

we stayed at Bean Town Campground in Bailey's Harbor about a month ago... it was nice being on the lake michigan side of the peninsula, and was a very quiet campground (even though they had very few rules and no posted quiet time)

All of our sites were full hookup, and they even had wifi.
