Camping Near Dardanelle, AR

Anyone know of a nice quiet campground near Dardanelle, AR? We will need to stay about 4 or 5 days. COE, state park, etc. Need 50 amp electric for air conditioners, but it doesn't matter about water or sewer. We're in a 34 foot motorhome. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

I'm pretty sure there is a Lake Dardanelle and I would bet it has a campground. I have no idea if it will suit your needs but it might be worth checking out. OK I checked it out and here's a link to the State Park site:https://www.arkansasstateparks.com/p...lle-state-park

Thanks 'Old Fisherman'. The state park on the lake seemed real nice but did not have any vacancies for 50 amp, but I did find a COE park, "Old Post Road", that had a 50 amp vacant site and I got it starting Tuesday.
I really wanted the 50 amp to run both air conditioners. When it cools off a little later I won't be so picky.
Thanks,

Ivy's Cove is just off I-40 at Exit 84 in Russellville. There's a Flying J with RV lanes very convenient to it, and there are a lot of good restaurants nearby. It's a nice park run by nice people.

Ivy's Cove RV Retreat

Edit:
I read your second post after posting the above. Old Post looks like a nice park, though we've never stayed there. Enjoy

We are at the COE now and leaving Tuesday, maybe you are getting our site #16. 50 A with later and a dump station. Been here for 10 days and has been hot and humid and rained all night but is supposed to start cooling at night just in time to leave. It has been pretty quiet here so far

We've stayed at Old Post Road COE several times. It's a nice campground with nice large sites. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Almost; we will check into site #9 Tuesday.

Thanks 'chindog', we feel good about our campground choice now.

Anyone who is ever in that neighborhood, consider visiting Petit Jean State Park. There's a nice waterfall, a couple of high overlooks, the turtle rocks, the bear cave trail, and more. I've been there with the grandkids a couple of times and alone a couple more times. Just take deet, there's ticks in them thar hills.

Excellent post Rexlion. While in the Old Post Road COE park we took a day trip to Petit Jean State Park, and it was very nice. It's worth another trip up here to stay in it. It books up a lot, so have to plan ahead to stay in Petit Jean. We also visited Mount Nebo and Mount Magazine; and both were very good. We liked that area of Arkansas.
Thanks,

If you're into hiking and/or bicycle trails you might check out Mount Nebo State park as well. It's very close to Dardenelle.
