One more thing ..... I strongly advise Furnace Creek if you can ''dry camp''. it is centerally located and really cheap. One other suggestion would be to go to Death Valley while the 49ers reunion people are there. It is a week long celebration of the Gold rush 49'rs traveling thur Death valley going to the gold fields in Calif. You buy a badge that gets you into the music and demo's etc....... and it is well worth the money. Lots of really friendly people and lots of good fun. YOU can google it and find the date of the reunion. Be sure to go to ''Scotties Castle'' and watch out for ''Wiley Coyote'' along the road going into the ''castle''. He is a big mooch and will try to convince you that he is sick or been hit by a car. DONT FEED HIM.... You can ask the ranger down to the castle about him..... Lots to see in Death Valley but carry extra water and dont run out of gas. Have fun..... Wish we were with you...

God bless our service personnel and keep them safe ....

We stayed in Beatty Nv, There are a couple three RV parks with hookups and not a bad drive for the valley. Don't miss the lowest point and the Kilns, very cool(pun intended) sites to see as well as the others mentioned. The park maps are very good. And if you have 4x4 or good truck Titus canyon road gravel and sand one way.

We are off to Panamint Springs this Thursday. I love the solitude of the desert.
