Camping near Sterling Colorado?

We are thinking about a trip from the Seattle area to Sterling Co. This summer to visit long lost relatives. I'm thinking of a loop trip taking a route that will take us down through Boise Idaho and then continuing through southern Wyoming and then down to the north eastern corner of Colorado where Sterling is located....
I haven't been to this area before and I'm not seeing much as far as RV campgrounds around Sterling. Does anyone know if there is a decent, (doesn't need to be fancy) campground in that area?

Thanks for your help!

There is North Sterling State Park just north of Sterling. 50 amp available. No FHUs, but water and dump and camper service building with showers and laundry availability

Here's a review on the state park. Looks like that might be your only choice.

If you do the state park book early if you want a location with electric. Weekends are tough May-Sept. Bring bug spray. The critters love the water.

City parks in Brush and Ft Morgan to the south are fine. Ft Morganr has some 30amp and 15amp outlets. Brush if I remember correctly has no services but it's a nice town.

Unfortunately there aren't many choices in NE Colorado.

Thanks for the feedback... As soon as we firm up our plans, I'll call and get some reservations. I'm sure we will want electric so we can run the air conditioners. Probably hot there in the summer.

Thanks again.
