Fishing Bridge will be closed in 2019, not 2018.

I agree it is 2019, that is what I said. This is according to Yellowstone phone call, before making our reservation.

Actually, Fishing Bridge closes Sept 5, 2018 and will be closed all of 2019.

You got some great info from previous posters but I’ll tell you our experience. We stayed at YNP and Grand Tetons last two weeks of August two yrs ago. IMHO Grizzly will be perfect for you. Very easy walking distance to town and just an overall nice park. Also Coulter Bay, The rv fhu side was perfect. We saw more wildlife than I think I’ve ever seen my whole life that trip! Both parks. One week for each park. Bears everywhere! Elk bugling in the morning! We were like kids! Can’t wait to go back. Have fun!

I highly recommend Flagg Ranch in Teton. I’ve never stayed at Fishing Bridge but I’ve driven through it. The sites were crammed in pretty tight, so I’d consider myself lucky to be pushed elsewhere. Click image for larger version

I stayed in Grizzly RV Park last summer and had no problems at all. It is only about 1 1/2 miles to the west gate so getting into the park is easy. West Yellowstone has a nice flair to it as well.

Nice to see good reviews of Grizzly RV Park since we will be there 6 June 2018 to the 21 June and have a 41 foot Class A.
