We did show up early once and we were able to get in. And yes TT will hold a certain number of sites available to the public. And yes there are annual sites, but still plenty of sites for members as long as one is making advanced reservations.
We pay about $55 a month for our plan and use it often. They make very little money if any off us! Simply no cheaper way to full time other than endless boon docking which we chose not to do.
TT is losing money on us. We make sure we get our money's worth and we make the most of our visits. And we have a great time at it
No, the ones we've stayed in aren't for everyone, but we tend to think more of the ameneties (sp), the people and what we came to that campground for. So I guess we're easy to please
This time of year some TT campgrounds may only be open on the weekends, so that's something to consider. But call them and good luck and have fun!
