This thread has jumped the shark. The topic is about cannabis friendly campgrounds. Please stay on topic here or move on to another thread.
Thanks

OP I doubt you are going to find a cannabis friendly campground just by the reactions here. One person gets violent when they smell it, another thinks you need to rethink your life if you smoke it and another wants you incarcerated for 20 years with a rapist if you smoke it...... Good luck this is just a small sampling of what you will be up against,

^ Post #94 I linked to an actual campground. I believe someone else mentioned one too. Two posts on topic out of nearly 200, impressive.

Come on up to Canada, we are changing our anthem to O canabis, our home and native land. Lots of friendly campgrounds here. You can smoke it anywhere you can drink alcohol. Apparently, they sold 43 million dollars worth in the first two weeks, and Ontario doesnt even have stores until next year.

Well the haters are gonna hate, They don't rate a response from me. at your reply to Stuhly!

Back on Topic...
Besides the Double Dice in NV you mentioned, Out of curiosity I contacted a couple of KOA's in Colorado just to ask what their policy is. They both said they use the same policy as for alcohol. "Use not to be in evidence". Smoking then is pretty much out, but since I only use edibles I'm good. I suspect that is the policy most everywhere in rec legal states. I did discover several other private campgrounds in Colorado that allow open consummation of cannabis but most are for tenters and cabins. They don't have RV hook-ups . Canyonside near Fort Collins is openly cannabis friendly and has RV hook-ups. Another one is supposedly under development near Fort Garland CO that will be cannabis and RV friendly.
We are headed to Maine this summer. So that will be our first RV foray into legal consumption. With Maine and Massachusetts both legal now with New York and Connecticut very likely follow in the fall with New Hampshire sometime after that. New England will probably become a destination for 420 folks in the south.

Finally read a bunch of this thread. Nobody seems to care about the topic other than the OP. Or to pontificate on weed in general. The pontification was pretty entertaining. What I find amusing about the topic is, if you smoke pot, you donít care about the legality. There is no need to as long as you are discreet. Thatís the way itís always been.

Since the topic isn’t being addressed I’ll close the thread.
