Here's a link to Caprock State Park. There is a campground and tent camping areas and also a 8-site overflow area for $10. Doesn't look like boondocking and most state parks do not allow it. It's hard to find good boondocking areas in Texas. It's mostly privately owned or government lands. The GPS coordinates are to the right of the picture, under the address. Good luck!

Watch the weather closely...much of the severe weather that affect West Texas and Oklahoma gets its start in the Palo Duro Canyon area during the months of April and May.
