Got to careful with those potatoes

Potatoes! LOL. Thanks for the info. We were planning to just sleep in the Walmart parking lot and move on first thing in the AM. Not sure if we are bringing "Karl" or not, but what papers would I need if we did and they happened to ask? Rabies cert?

Here is a trip to the whole area you can pick through the links.
Most campgrounds we found most reasonable and close to main attractions.
The dates will be up dated to this year.
Have a great safe trip.

Taken, if you go to Karl's veterinarian they should be able to give you a copy of his medical history for cross border travel. Most times they won't ask for cats but are more likely to ask for dogs.

Hey, another question. How come you went all the way up to Houlton to cross in? Google map's directions say to head over from Bangor and cross at Calais.

Calais is shorter and the road is decent. There is lots of road construction on the New Brunswick side as they are twinning the single lane section. The Houlton route is twinned highway all the way and is faster than the Calais route...longer but faster.

Ah, I get it. Just adjusted the route on Google maps to do the Houlton route. Looks like the Walmart there is easy too.
