Yes, those Phoenix storms gather the dust from Casa Grande. We've been caught in two horrific dust storms in the Casa Grande area in December and they are scary. They are unpredictible and come up instantly. You don't know if someone is going to rear-end you and you can't see 3' ahead of you. When we visit our daughter in Scottsdale if there's any wind we take an alternate route on Hwy 77 through Florence into Apache Junction.

Lets be fair.
The entire Valley gets dust storms.
They happen.
Lawn furniture is dusted off and life goes on.
Both areas nice. Casa Grande a bit warmer in winter. Much to see and do. Less traffic.

The AZ monsoon and haboob (dust storm) season begins June 15 and lasts until Sept 15.

Thanks to all. Our son is going down from Phoenix and do some drive throughs for us. We are thinking about starting in one of the more reasonable parks and, look around for the future. Thanks again everyone.
