Central Florida Campground Options

We are relocating to central Florida from Ohio and would like to know of a good campsite in the central FL area.

We need a place for my wife to stay by herself for a couple of months until we buy or build a house. Her work is near the Orlando Airport and we will most likely be moving to the Clermont area. We are driving the motorhome down to stay in a State Park for about a week and then relocate the motorhome to a private campground.

We used to live in Clermont years ago and know there is one off of 50 by winter garden, but we don't like the area. We are looking for a place no more than 45 min. away from the airport area.

I would think a look at www.campgroundreviews.com would give a host of places to choose from.

Hi al2ride,
There are too many CGs in central Florida. They all have their uniqueness's and quirks. Consider getting the latest edition of the Good Sam directory. There are several CGs along route 192 in Kissimmee that would be good for long term stay. There are also quite a few CGs in the Clermont area. The directory and Google searches can provide the most up to date information.
