We are looking for recommendations for campgrounds in the central Florida area (Orlando,Ocala, Tampa triangle). Nothing special needed, just a nice clean quite campground.

Thanks

Try calling Lake Griffin State State in Leesburg, just off 441, about 5 miles south of The Villages. It's a small, clean, nice state park. Site #6 was great!.
Lake Griffin State Park, 3089 Highway 441/27, Fruitland Park, FL 34731; ph. 352-360-6760

Outbumn,
Troth is correct Lake Griffin is a great State park.
Actually most of our State parks are nice. I have included a link, you can select the area your interested in. Then also book online. If there is a question as to length CALL THE PARK DIRECT, as the service that does the booking is wrong often, showing sites much smaller than they actually are.

Salt Springs State Park in Ocala has large paved sites 50 Amp full hookup a beautiful place. In Orlando area try Lake Louisa State Park they have a few with full hookups its out in the hill country between Clermont and Orlando 25 minutes from Disney.

Opps, I posted that to quick. The Great Outdoors is a RV resort/community in Titusville which is eyesight of Cape Canaveral/Kennedy Space Center. This time of year it's not crowded, two pools, 50 amp and all utilities...

Lake Louisa SP is a great campground, with full hookups and lake side camping. It is about 20-30 minutes from Disney area and Tampa. If you want something with some more to do try Fort Summit KOA ... Either is great!
