Cincinnati Area

We are going to some football games this year and have been looking around for campgrounds near Cincinnati. We will be going to the stadium in a bus as a group so not concerned with a place to park the RV at the stadium but would like to be in a decent campground relatively close. Anyone familiar with the area. Not opposed to something south that might be in Kentucky either. Thanks.

Winton Woods, a county park just north of town is nice.

Big Bone Lick SP (KY) is also a nice campground.

In Ohio, East Fork SP is about 20 miles east:

If you're a member of FMCA, they have a spot in Newtown, an eastern suburb with about 10 spots, I believe.

FMCA is for motor coach and motorhome owners. Motorcoach articles, motor home blogs, motor coach advice and motorhome videos.

The issue with all Cincinnati area campgrounds is that they close for winter. You'll have to check and see how many are open into November and December. There are also camping spots near Kings Island, I'm not sure if they open after the amusement park close in the fall.

Cedarbrook Campground in Lebanon is open year 'round. It's a nice campground.

Winton Woods is excellent but not open in the off season. Can be hard to get in, too, so advanced reservations are a must.

Little Farm On The River is another good campground but kind of far from downtown Cinci, it's located in Rising Sun, IN and is open all year. Get a river front site for sure in the lower section.
