Circus Circus camping in Vegas ????
Stayed there about 20 years ago and it was fine. Went back about 5 years ago and looked like it was run down and almost deserted. Anybody been there this year camping in the RV park, is it still open?
Want to go to the NHRA drag race in April thinking of a place near the track, maybe stay at the track. Have you done that there?

I would not stay at Circus Circus RV Park as they tack on an amenities fee to the daily rate.
I would recommend the Riviera RV Park that is about 3 miles east of The Strip. It is under $30/night and no amenities fees.

Sort of seems like it is the same as when I was there 5 years ago.

We stayed there in October. OK facility. Needs some TLC but can walk to the strip.

Sounds like a return trip to the Circus is not the best idea.

Circus Circus is a horror show. You WILL be broken in to there. The KOA at Sam's Town is fine - especially the section that is right by the casino. Great people.

We stayed at the campground at Circus-Circus last March. It was pricey, but close to the Strip. We didnt get broken into, and we never felt uncomfortable. We will probably stay there again this March.

When we were there they had a security guy on a bike riding around the rv park. No issues with security during our visit. You need to be conscious of the fact you are in an urban area and exercise the required awareness of your environment.

I have stayed at the track for the N.H.R.A. races but as a competitor. It is the best way to experience the racetrack for sure! No info on staying there as a spectator but I imagine it would be the best way to go.
On their website they have an RV information section under the tickets and schedule button with a parking map and rules but no RV fees. They suggest you call them at 1-800-644-4444 I know for a Nascar race it can cost several hundred to park for the weekend. Not sure if any tickets are included or not.

Circus Circus is a joke. The armpit of Las Vegas if I might say so. There are many RV parks that are much better.
