My wife found it at a website called Vermont Pop Up Testing. She called the number for Burlington and made an appointment for Tuesday at 11:30. Sunday we drove down from the campground we were staying in to scope out the parking to see if it was big enough for us to park hooked up while we got the test. It was. So, yesterday we drove the 20 miles to Burlington, parked and asked if we could get in line early, Yes they said so we stood in line for about 10 minutes...test was outside. The did it and said we would get a call in 2-4 days. This morning, the day after, they called with the good news.

RonLC-

We have stayed at Wild Duck in Scarborough and Duval's RV Park in Wells. Enjoyed both stays.

When in Wells, eat lobster and clam chowder at the Wells Beach Lobster Pound (they also offer carry-out) and ice cream at the Scoop Deck (my favorite ice cream flavor at the Scoop Deck is Dinosaur Crunch).

Some of the spots at Wild Duck are not very desirable. Others are very nice.

We are in Wild Duck and will not stay again for these reasons: Very tight turns and narrow roads...and...their cable tv requires you to borrow a cable box...and...AT&T is not usable.

I am not going to remove a TV from the wall or televator to plug in an antique cable box.

We've stayed at Bayley's down the road a few times and stopped by Wild Duck to check it out. I didn't like the tight roads and the sites weren't the greatest.
While Bayley's is pretty crowded and lots of kids, they do have a big rig area and an adult only pool and bar.

We've stayed at 3 parks in Maine along the coast:

York Beach Camper Park, York, ME - not right on the water, but a very short walk. Cool town. Nice beach. RV park had really nice staff and was very pleasant, but not a ton of amenities.

Acadia KOA - Some spots near the water. Food and shops not too far. No town per se. My wife got a cool yard, wind spinner nearby while we were leaving.

Sea-Vu Campground, Wells, ME - Well located near food, cool town, shopping, and beaches. Marginal Way in Ogunquit is super cool with good lobster rolls. Neat town.

In fact, I think I had lobster rolls in all 3 places as my recent Cholesterol test shows. Not a bad one to be had. It's my fatherly duty to taste test them.

Hope this helps! Have a great trip!!

X2

been many yrs since we have been to Bayley's but remember the just completed big rig area was relitively spread out and in the back part of the campground, expensive though. Might be worth looking into to

we stayed at bar harbor campground and loved it.. Nice place. Close to Bar Harbor and Cadillac mountain..
Price was very reasonable, but first come first served policy for campsites might
be problematic for some...

We enjoyed our time at Searsport Shores last summer. Close to Belfast and Camden. Right on the coast, with a private (rocky) beach. https://maineoceancamping.com

Places we liked on the coast of Maine

Ron & Peggy, We have been to and recommend Searsport Shores, in Searsport, mid-coast and Sea View in Eastport. Both have water sites, a lovely view and extended beach access. Also lobster rolls within a short drive.
