Thanks Jim! We are on the road now but are hunkered down 50 mi north of Waterloo Iowa. Strong storms today along our I-90 route at Sioux Falls and Mitchell SD.. We're gonna let them finish before we head out.. Still on schedule to be in the CdA area 9/24. Looks like great weather for our several day stay in the Black Hills area 8/17 - 8/22. Thanks again for the updates..

We are in Mt Rushmore. It was rainy the last 2 days, but now it is clear and looks like it will be for the next few days.

Leaving for Deadwood tomorrow.

We are in Mitchell SD and will finally be at Elkhorn Ridge RV Campground tomorrow through 8/22.. Weather is looking real good. SD really needed the rain they just got. But it was no fun driving 6 hours in the pouring rain through construction zones..

Deadwood is really kinda cool.. A bit of a tourist trap but they've done a great job with the old town street. Quite a place during the gold rush. Did the Mt Rushmore/Crazy Horse visits. I would definitely recommend them. Custer state park was amazing, spearfish canyon a must see and drive.
Headed up I-90 Tuesday 8/22. Probably make 2 overnight stops before hitting Coeur d Alene 8/24. It looks like they are predicting 80s and low 90's with SW winds.. Anyone have any input?

Thanks Jim, do you have a recommendation for a nice RV Park? We were looking at Blackwell Island RV park but am still looking around.

You might consider Stoneridge Motorcoach Village, Blanchard, ID. Beautiful spot! Weather is low 80's and 50's - 60's at night. A bit hazy today, but can still see the views. We've been here since June.

We use Verizon phones for our hotspots and it works great. Clubhouse WiFi is adequate. However, there are free laundry facilities
