Colter Bay Campground Information

My Wife and I will be staying in Colter Bay Campground (not Colter Bay RV Park) shortly after Labor Day weekend in 2012 and I searched the iRV2 site trying to find information and a map of the campground but so far have been unable to find a campground map even on other sites. My Wife read somewhere that some loops allow running your generator and some loops don't. If anyone can give a direction to a campground map I would sure appreciate it.

Here is a pic of the campground. Really, all sites look the same - roadside parking in a forest. As to the loop, when you enter you will state that you will use your generator and they will direct you to the loop, accordingly. All loops look the same. We have stayed here but we really enjoy Gros Ventre campground better. It's more "open". Sometimes we even move from one to the other just for a change of scenery and to explore a different area of the park. Have a great trip!

Well... I tried to check the above link out and it didn't direct me to Colter Bay. So you might want to try the below link.

www.wxtoad.com

Click on the "Campground Reviews", "State" (Wyoming), and then "Colter Bay". Sorry for the confusion.

Twogypsies, thanks for the link I think we will reconsider Colter Bay Campground because we like the looks of Gros Ventre better.
