Comparison of newer apps and Escapee’s Days End for boondocking

Has anyone compared the Escapee’s Days End information on boondocking sites with the info in current crowd sourced apps like Campendium? We aren’t Escapee members, but I have heard good things about Days End. The other Escapee benefits aren’t much value to us now. We look for sites now with Campendium and AllStays now, and we are going to sign up with Boondockers Welcome just before the next trip.

This probably isn’t helpful, but we’re been using RVParky for the past year and it fits our needs perfectly. Finds campgrounds or boondocking places and has reviews. Very helpful.

I looked at RV Parky a few years back, and it didn’t meet our needs. We prefer pretty secluded boondock sites, and there just weren’t as many there as the other apps. I compared by looking up remote campgrounds and boondock sites we had used in the past, and only a couple were there. Campendium and AllStays had all of them.

No site covers all the spots out there!

We used Days End & it was helpful for us at the time. The list was huge and covered all states and entries were submitted by those that used them. GPS coordinates were given for most of them. A lot were off the beaten path and some were for quick one-night stops. I haven't used the list for a few years so I can't help as to what it's like nowadays.

We were Escapee members for 20 yr. and used their mail service, home parks, joined a few sub-groups and met many life-long friends meeting up as we all traveled.
