I've stayed there a few times . It's essentially a sand parking lot on the beach. Beach is very nice. You do have access to their hotel and it's facilities ( e.g. pool) as a camper. I think there are about 25-30 sites so it's not a huge place. Good restaurants in the area and a short drive south to Daytona Beach or north to St. Augustine.
Weather that time of year that far north is iffy--- could be nice, could be cold.

Keep your fingers crossed... it all depends on the fronts that come through during the winter.
We were in St. Augustine for Thanksgiving last year and it was in the 30's !

We were just there two weeks ago. Let me answer one of your concerns, weather. Like PanJH said, it is basically a sand parking lot with hook ups and the weather is iffy. I have lived in Volusia County since '77 and can count thee number of time it has been in the 20's or lower on my hands, however, it could be in the 70's and it could get in the 30's. The best sites at this park are, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17 and 18. These are ocean front sites. 11 & 12 are for units up to 25' and 15 to 18 are for units up to 35'. 12 and 15 are next to the beach access so you will have all of the campers going by you on their way to the beach. It didn't bother the people that were in these sites when we were there. Avoid sites 19 to 22 and 25 to 28 as they tend to be narrow and are around the rest room. I hope this helps. If you have other quwstions just ask.
