Looking to spend 4 to 5 weeks in Connecticut the summer of 2017,in between kids in Boston and NYC. Any suggestions? Anyone with 1st hand knowledge of Seaport RV in Mystic, Witch Meadow Lake, Strawberry Park which are a few that I have explored. Looking to spend less than 1500 for a month.

Strawberry Park in Preston City has been a 30 year favorite of mine. Witch Meadow is ok if you like wooded camping; the lake is quickly turning into a marsh so mosquitoes are a constant struggle if they are a concern.

Check out Ashaway RV Park. It is a new RV park and in RI, very close to the CT border. Never stayed at Normandy Farms but it has great reviews. It is one hour from a Boston and close to Route 95. We prefer wilderness camping and did not care for Strawberry Park.
