Depends how close you want to be to the action. There is a lot more to do and see than the downtown festivities. Are you ground dwelling or RVing?
New Symnrna RV park, Blue Spring State Park, Clark Family Campground to name a few.

We will be in our RV, and there likely will be a few of us who will need spots.. While we want to partake in the festivities.. we also like a good nights sleep..
So, I guess we want to be close enough to the action to partake, but not close enough to "live" the experience.. if that makes any sense ???

Guess I should have looked at your signature LOL. Any of the places I posted are close enough and still not in the thick of it. 1 day doing the downtown thing is good enough for us. There is great riding all around the area with biker watering holes along the way. The
Cabbage Patch always has a lot going on and the No Name Saloon in Edgewater is interesting too.

New Smyrna is good... we also like the Daytona Flea Market..... they have reservable sites with electric and water. Close to the track and a short ride to Main Street or Beach Street and an easy back road way to get to the Iron Horse and and on the same road as the Cabbage Patch-- just a few miles away.

Please tell me about camping at the Daytona Flea Market.
Bath house? Cost etc
Wife not going so I'll just take 12' enclosed trailer and sleep in it. Should be cool enough at night not to need AC

They do have a bathhouse/shower facility and a few food vendors on site. Of course, you can walk into the flea market for other food and all the stuff they have.
I don't remember the costs, give them a call.... most of the sites are no hookups, but you can reserve hookup sites for more $$'s
Just looked up the website- looks like $14.50/nite for dry camping.
Crazyhorse Campground

Sadly... I don't think I'm going...
I have to get tires before I can do a long trip like this.. and it's such a crap shoot as far as weather goes here in WI... I don't want to take the RV out until all the salt is gone (much like I do with my HD).. and the prospect of all the salt being gone by the beginning of March is highly unlikely...
My cousin lives in The Villages, FL, which is about 45-60 minutes away.. he has a friend who makes the trip during Bike Week... so, there is always a shot of going down...
Best of luck... hope you have fun !!!
